Changing Gearz has a large and varied amount of reconditioned bikes for sale from BMX’s, Mountain Bikes, Children’s First Bikes, Racing Bikes, Vintage Bikes to name but a few! We fix donated bikes and ensure that they are ride-ready.
By buying a bike from us you will not only be having great value for money but you will also be helping young people to learn new skills, raise funds and feel proud of their achievements.
Any members of the public who would like to purchase reconditioned cycles from the Project can do so with confidence as the bikes will have been checked over and serviced by our professionally trained and experienced bike maintenance staff and come with 3 monthly parts and a labour guarantee.

Our 16 point checklist guarantees that our bikes are completely functional and at the highest standard possible:
- Check for damage and scratches.
- Check saddle and seat post are tight.
- Handlebar, stem, brake and gear levers.
- Check wheel nuts/QR levers.
- Check cones for side play/tightness.
- Inflate tyres.
- Set front brake.
- Set rear brake.
- True wheels.
- Crank bolts and pedal.
- Check bottom bracket for play.
- Front gears and stop screws.
- Rear gears and stop screws.
- Fit reflectors and bell
- Check headset for play.
- Floor check.
